About All About the Children

allaboutthechildren.us was conceived in the hearts of two women whose lives have been, and continue to be, affected by divorce. Cathy Chestler holds a Masters degree in education from Loyola University of Chicago. She is a divorced mother of two whose parents also divorced when she was a child. Cathy’s life experiences give her a unique perspective; she has experienced the effects of divorce from the eyes of a child and the perspective of an adult. Kimberly A. Kick has a Masters degree in Social Work also from Loyola, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked as a therapist with children, adolescents and families for over 23 years. She currently teaches full-time at the graduate level and is working on completing her PhD in General Psychology.

Cathy and Kim used their own personal and professional experience to design a service that is easy to use, has the potential of recognition by court systems, and will help everyone remember it is all about the children.
